Using generative design, redesign an existing product to be manufactured using an additive manufacturing (AM) process
Think simple designs - wrenches, sprockets, gears, etc. - made of single-components (not assemblies!)
Once your new design is generated and finalized, program and print out your product with an AM system
Test & analyze the characteristics & performance of your generatively-designed product, compared to that of the original, traditionally-manufactured product
Summarize and present your findings, lessons learned, etc.
