(Continuing from ∆1 CHALLENGE: AM Machine Scale Models)

Together with your classmates, set-up & run a 24/7+ continuous print cycle on a single 3D printer for all the quantities/types of machine scale models represented in the MET labs

• Your objective is to achieve less than 1 total hour of predictable, scheduled downtime in production for the printer as well as all post-processing systems/operations

• Predict, plan, prepare, & execute on any/all required preventative maintenance, consumable restocking, etc.

  • Create technical work instructions & procedures for individuals to perform & account for print to print

• During execution, record & document the completion of all planned tasks, as well as any unexpected/unplanned failures
