For the 5-Axis Product of your choosing...
Using a 5-Axis Machining Center, run your program(s) created via CAM and posted into G-Code, to cut your part from a piece of raw material:
Create a Setup Sheet to guide your setup & operation of the machine
Set-up your machine hardware and software to align with the setup you created in CAM (ex: tool & work offsets, fixturing, etc.)
After setting up the machine, perform a Graphics Run & Dry run of your program to test for errors in programming and setup
GET INSTRUCTOR TO VERIFY SETUP PRIOR TO RUNNING
Once tested, perform a safe first-part-run, including best practices such as: reduced rapids, speed/feed overrides as needed, feed hold, single-block, distance-to-go, etc.
As needed, adjust settings, setup, program, toolpath, etc. to eliminate any issues that arise
After your part is cut, utilize your previously-created technical drawing(s) to inspect the part dimensions/tolerances to a standard
As needed, apply tool wear compensation to achieve required dimension/tolerance
Iterate on your part/program/setup until you are satisfied with the results (surface finish, dimension, tool life, cycle time, etc.). The outcome here should be that you are confident and able to run your program at 100% overrides for many parts, one after another. Once this is accomplished, you have a proven program!
