International Workshop on Real-World Applications and Deployments in Distributed Computing and Networking
in conjunction with ICDCN 2026
in conjunction with ICDCN 2026
We are pleased to announce the first Industrial Track at ICDCN 2026. This session aims to bring together practitioners and researchers working on real-world industrial applications of distributed computing and networking systems. We invite contributions that highlight the deployment, scalability, performance, and challenges of applying advanced computing and networking technologies in real-life industrial, commercial, or social contexts.
We invite oral presentations that cover industrial implementations, case studies, or large-scale deployments in any of the technical areas covered by ICDCN 2026, including but not limited to:
Distributed Algorithms and Systems
Network Protocols and Architectures
Edge, Fog, and Cloud Computing
Security and Privacy in Distributed Systems
Internet of Things (IoT) and Cyber-Physical Systems
Smart Cities, Industrial IoT, and Urban-scale Systems
Blockchain-based Infrastructure and Applications
Networked Systems for Healthcare, Mobility, or Energy
Submissions must emphasize practical relevance and real-world impact. We particularly welcome contributions that discuss lessons learned, deployment challenges, and integration with existing infrastructure.
ICDCN 2026 workshop proceedings will be published as a companion volume along with the main conference proceedings. However, please note that ACM has moved to a new open-access publishing model for all conference proceedings to be published via ACM ICPS. The authors have to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) to ACM (which is beyond the regular conference registration fee) if the corresponding author’s organization is not a member of the ACM Open program. Please check the details through this link: https://www.acm.org/publications/icps/author-guidance. Several institutes worldwide are already members of the ACM Open program. The authors can use the following link to check if their organization is a member under the ACM Open program: https://libraries.acm.org/acmopen/open-participants. For any clarifications, contact icps-info@acm.org.
All submissions must use the official LaTeX ACM article template acmart.cls, version 1.80 or greater, with the following document class declaration (Templates are available at https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template)
Papers should not exceed 6 pages (double-column), including figures, tables, and references, in standard ACM format. They may include a clearly marked appendix with additional details necessary for validating results (e.g., technical proofs, supplementary experimental results).
The conference will employ a double-blind reviewing process. Submissions must not reveal author identities in any form. Author names, affiliations, and email addresses should not appear anywhere in the submission. Do not omit or anonymize critical references. Use third-person references to your prior work (e.g., replace “as we have shown before” with “as shown before in [X]”).
