While preparing a session to present the background and business history of Amazon, I knew I didn’t want it to be a monologue. I wanted it to be interactive, fun, and most of all - memorable.
So I built a web-based Amazon Quiz App, hosted it live, and engaged over 250 students in a real-time challenge.
It turned out to be one of the most impactful demos - a project that combined front-end simplicity with product-led teaching.
We often learn through visual or written formats - but what if we could make learning auditory and engaging through conversation?
I wanted to:
Experiment with Alexa Skill Kit (ASK).
Understand how users interact via voice commands.
Build something fun, lightweight, and educational.
The following Tech stacks are being used:
HTML and CSS.
JavaScript.
Hosted on Render (Live deployment).
GitHub Repo: amazon quiz.
Unlike many static or PDF-style presentations, this project:
Was product-led learning in action.
Encouraged real-time feedback.
Created a strong engagement loop between content and interaction.
Originally inspired by Alexa Skills, the project began as a voice quiz. But for this session, I reimagined it as a lightweight quiz app. The goal was simple:
📚 Teach Amazon’s legacy through a hands-on quiz experience.
⚙️ Use code to create real engagement.
🎯 Test students' knowledge live in a friendly competition.
🎤 Real-World Execution
During a session I conducted on Amazon’s origin, business model, and Jeff Bezos' strategy, I used this quiz to reinforce key learning points.
The app was simple, fast, and visually clear.
Every question was tied to a story from the presentation.
Students accessed the quiz by scanning QR code on their phones. I walked through the scoreboard and feedback in real time.
👥 Audience: 250+ college students.
⏱️ Time to launch: Under 5 seconds.
Live tested and loved by students - many said it was the most fun quiz.
While the app already supports mobile responsiveness and includes a basic leaderboard, I’d love to take it even further with:
📊 Advanced leaderboard filters (top scorers by time, accuracy, etc.).
🎨 Custom themes inspired by other tech giants (Google, Tesla, Netflix…).
📈 Admin dashboard to track live participation metrics and session stats.
📱 Optimized multi-user experience for group quizzes, real-time feedback, and dynamic scoring animations.
Great UX doesn’t need to be complex.
Code can be a communication tool, not just a technical artifact.
Building a real product and watching users interact live is an unmatched feeling.
It fueled my love for product-driven storytelling.
This wasn’t just a quiz - it was a demo of how I think as a builder, a communicator, a future product manager and an entrepreneur.
I used this project to teach, inspire, and engage - and it reminded me why I’m deeply passionate about building tools that spark curiosity and connection.
