I am currently a Data Scientist in Center for Applied Scientific Computing in Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (a U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratory). Before my tenure at LLNL, I was a Staff Research Scientist in Optimization and Control Group at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (a U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratory). I have a PhD (2017) in Control systems from University of Florida under Prof. Warren Dixon (Nonlinear Controls and Robotics group http://ncr.mae.ufl.edu). I also have a MS (2017) in Mechanical Engineering (minor in Applied Mathematics) from University of Florida and a MTech (2012) in Dynamics and Controls from Indian Institute of Kharagpur, India and a BS (2010) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, India.
I am primarily interested in the intersection of Machine learning and Control theory, applied to various energy systems. Although Machine learning/Deep learning based techniques have been well established in various communities, have been rarely visited in the context of advancement of control theory.
All of my papers, codes are avilable on this website (go to the respective page at the top right corner). Please feel free to contact me for any questions.
