How to Get Involved
The Volunteer Season for ILCA's The Teaching Garden
From June 1 through October 31, our Community Teaching Garden Literacy Project has weekly garden-volunteer hours every Monday and Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. as well as every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
We’re glad to have your help The Teaching Garden. Depending on the season, you'll have the chance to help with planting, weeding, harvesting, and other garden-maintenance tasks.
Please dress appropriately for outdoor work. And don't forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, and a bottle of water.
People of all ages are welcome to come and lend a hand. Volunteers under the age of 16.5 must be accompanied by an adult.
All volunteers will be required to complete, sign, and submit our Volunteer Waiver, Release, and Indemnity Agreement.
Volunteer must:

1. Complete and sign our Volunteer Waiver, Release, and Indemnity Agreement. (If you are under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must also sign the Agreement).
2. Scan and email your completed and signed Agreement to CTGLP.worc@gmail.com.
