Check what study programmes are conducted at Vilnius University.
Which study programme(s) appeal to you/match your interests?
Check which academic unit (faculty/institute/academy/school) conducts the subjects of your interest. This will help you filter the list of individual study subjects and select the subjects that best suit you.
Open the list of available individualised studies subjects.
Select the study program you are currently studying in. Also, pay attention to the year of admission, indicated next to the study programme name.
In the "Academic Unit (Faculty) which organises the course" field, select the academic unit that conducts the study programs you named in the previous step.
Review the list of subjects offered to you and identify the ones that best develop the competencies you want to acquire. You will do this most accurately if you base your choice on the subject description.
Repeat steps two and three with each selected academic unit.
With a list of all the subjects that are most relevant to you, it's time to prioritise them according to the level of interest (from most interested to least). This list will be useful while registering. If the places are filled, you can look for your second or third priority.
Review the criteria listed in the "Prerequisites" column (if there are any). Do you meet them all?
In the "Description" column, you will find the subject timetable - familiarise yourself with it. Does the subject timetable suit you? Will you be able to coordinate it with your main studies timetable?
During the individualised studies subjects selection period, log in to is.vu.lt and register for the subjects you want.
