Overview
The Robotics: Science and Systems community is committed to increasing the participation of groups traditionally underrepresented in robotics, including but not limited to: women, underrepresented minorities, first-generation college students, LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities, and especially people early in their studies and career.
The Inclusion@RSS 2024 program will award fellowships to selected BSc, MSc, and first and second year PhD students to attend RSS, and offer a dedicated program and mentorship, to help support their journey towards a career in robotics. Priority will be given to students who have not previously attended RSS and/or are new to the robotics research community.
The Fellowship Program
The Fellowship Program aims to help participants actively participate in and thrive at the RSS 2024 conference.To do so, students accepted as Inclusion Fellows will receive:
Registration and other fee waivers to attend R:SS 2024 in Delft, The Netherlands.
Airfare and lodging (double occupancy) in Delft, The Netherlands for the program and conference days (July 13-20).
Opportunities to interact both with their cohort as well as leaders in robotics through sessions before and during the conference.
Matching to a mentor in the field who has similar robotics interests.
Tips and advice for making the most of conference attendance to support those attending an international robotics conference for the first time.

July 15 - July 19: Main RSS Conference
