InBVC: Bulk Video Compressor ("InBVC", "the App") is developed by Krepel Studio ("we", "us", or "our").
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, processed, stored, used, and shared when you use InBVC.
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
InBVC is an Android application designed to compress video files and reduce their file size.
The App supports individual video processing, batch processing, and processing of supported videos from folders explicitly selected by the user.
Supported input containers may include MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, WEBM, 3GP, 3GPP, TS, MTS, M2TS, MPG, and MPEG.
Compressed videos are created in the MP4 format using H.264 video and AAC audio where supported by the device.
Video processing is designed to occur locally on your Android device.
Krepel Studio does not operate a remote video-compression service and does not intentionally upload your selected videos or compressed output files to Krepel Studio servers.
InBVC accesses videos and folders only when you explicitly select them using Android system file or folder selection interfaces.
Depending on the action you choose, the App may access:
selected video files;
supported videos inside a folder selected by you;
video metadata required for compression;
an output folder selected by you;
original files when you explicitly enable the Replace Originals option.
The App uses this access only to provide its video-processing functionality.
InBVC is not designed to require unrestricted access to all files on your device and does not intentionally scan unrelated files outside locations to which you grant access.
Video analysis and compression are performed locally on your device.
During processing, the App may temporarily:
analyze video duration and file size;
read resolution, bitrate, frame rate, container, and codec information;
decode video and audio streams;
encode compressed video and audio streams;
calculate compression parameters;
create temporary processing data;
write the final compressed video.
The App may use Android media-processing technologies such as MediaCodec and Media3, including hardware-supported encoding and decoding where available.
Your videos are not intentionally used by Krepel Studio for advertising profiling, behavioral profiling, sale to third parties, or artificial intelligence model training.
InBVC may provide an Exact Size mode that allows you to enter a desired approximate output size in KB or MB.
Before compression begins, the App may locally analyze:
original file size;
video duration;
video bitrate;
audio bitrate;
supported encoding parameters;
other technical information required to estimate an appropriate target bitrate.
The App may warn you if the requested target size:
requires very aggressive compression;
may result in significant quality loss;
is too small for supported compression parameters;
is larger than the original file.
InBVC does not guarantee that the final file will exactly match the requested size byte-for-byte.
The feature is designed to produce a result as close as reasonably possible to the requested size within the supported compression parameters.
InBVC may provide a Replace Originals option.
If you explicitly enable this option, the App may replace or remove an original video after a compressed replacement has been successfully created.
The App does not intentionally replace original files unless this functionality has been selected by you.
You should maintain backups of important videos before using functionality that modifies or replaces original files.
Video compression may require significant processing time, particularly for large videos, high-resolution videos, multiple files, or entire selected folders.
When you explicitly start a compression operation, InBVC may use Android foreground and background media-processing mechanisms so that the active operation can continue when you:
minimize the App;
switch to another application;
turn off the screen;
lock the device.
Background processing is used only for compression tasks initiated by you.
The App is not designed to continuously monitor your device, track your activity, or automatically start unrelated processing operations.
Background processing ends when the applicable compression operation is completed, cancelled, fails, or is stopped by Android.
InBVC may use an Android Foreground Service for active video-processing operations where required or appropriate under Android platform rules.
The App may declare foreground-service permissions and service types necessary for media processing.
Foreground-service functionality is used only to support active video-processing operations initiated by you.
It does not provide the App with unrestricted access to your personal information or files.
While video compression is running, InBVC may display an ongoing system notification.
The notification may display:
compression status;
current video file name;
current video number;
total number of videos;
progress percentage;
progress indicator;
completion status;
processing errors.
Notification information is generated locally on your device.
Depending on your Android lock-screen and notification settings, some notification information may be visible while your device is locked.
On Android versions that require runtime notification permission, InBVC may request permission to display notifications.
This permission is used for notifications related to video compression and other relevant App events.
The App does not use notification permission to read or access notifications generated by other applications.
You can allow, deny, or modify notification access through Android system settings.
InBVC may process multiple videos as part of a batch operation.
The App may locally maintain limited information about an active processing session, including:
selected file references;
selected output location;
compression mode;
target size where applicable;
current queue position;
number of completed items;
number of failed items;
processing progress;
completion status.
This information is used to maintain processing continuity and provide accurate progress information.
The App is not designed to permanently store unnecessary copies of complete source videos as processing-state data.
If one video cannot be processed, InBVC may continue processing the remaining videos in the batch.
Successfully compressed videos may remain available even if another file fails or the overall batch is interrupted.
If processing is cancelled or stopped by Android, videos that were successfully completed before the interruption may remain in the output location selected by you.
Compressed videos are saved to a storage location selected or permitted by you.
Generated files remain under your control until you delete, move, replace, or otherwise remove them.
If you select a cloud-backed storage provider through Android's system file interface, that provider may upload or synchronize the files according to its own privacy policy.
Krepel Studio does not control third-party storage providers selected by you.
InBVC may temporarily create or maintain media-processing data such as:
decoding buffers;
encoding buffers;
temporary media data;
intermediate output;
technical metadata;
processing state.
Temporary information is used only as necessary to perform the requested video-processing operation and is intended to be released or removed when no longer required.
InBVC may store settings locally on your device, including:
selected language;
selected theme;
compression mode;
Exact Size preferences;
selected output location;
Replace Originals preference;
application settings;
Pro entitlement state;
information required to enforce applicable Free usage limits.
This information is used to provide App functionality and remember your preferences.
InBVC does not require a Krepel Studio account.
InBVC may provide both Free and Pro functionality.
The App may locally store limited information necessary to determine applicable Free usage limits and Pro entitlement.
Pro functionality may include features such as:
unlimited compression;
batch compression;
compression of videos from entire selected folders.
The exact functionality available may depend on the current version of the App.
InBVC may offer Pro functionality through Google Play Billing.
Payments are processed by Google Play.

payment card number;
bank account details;
complete payment credentials.
The App may receive purchase-related information provided by Google Play, including:
