At Boby AI, we value your privacy. Inbox Zero – Smart Mail (“the App”) helps users process their Gmail inbox with AI-powered summaries and replies. This policy explains how we handle your data, including what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. What Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data beyond what is necessary to provide app functionality.
When using the app, we access:

• Your Gmail inbox contents (read-only access)

• Your email metadata (subject, sender, date)

• Your Google account email address

We do not collect or store passwords, contacts, or sensitive personal data.

3. How the App Works
Inbox Zero – Smart Mail connects to your Gmail account through Google’s OAuth 2.0 system, with your explicit permission.

Here’s how the process works:

• The app reads the subject line and body text of your emails (with read-only access)

• Selected emails are temporarily sent to OpenAI API to generate summaries and suggested replies

• The app never sends emails on your behalf — it only saves drafts to your Gmail drafts folder

• No email data or summaries are stored on our servers or in the app after the session ends

• You can disconnect your Google account and manage your data at any time
  
  

4. How We Use Your Data
We use your Gmail data only to provide AI summaries and suggested replies. Specifically:

• Emails are fetched via Gmail API (read-only)

• Contents are sent to OpenAI’s API to generate summaries/replies

• Responses are saved as drafts via Gmail API (write-draft only)

5. Third-Party Services
We securely interact with:

• Google OAuth 2.0 for account authentication

• Apple Sign in (for user authentication option)

• Gmail API (read and draft scopes only)

• OpenAI API to generate summaries and replies

All data transmitted to third-party services is encrypted via HTTPS.

6. Data Storage and Retention
The app is online-only and does not store emails or summaries locally.
Summaries and replies are temporarily held in session memory and discarded once the session ends.
We do not maintain user databases for personal email content.

7. Your Privacy Rights
As a user, you have the right to:

• Disconnect your Google account at any time

• Delete all app-related Gmail drafts manually
