In The Arms of Jesus Comfort + Advocacy was created to honor my daughter, Freya Grace, and to bring the hope and comfort of Heaven and a loving, supportive community to others grieving the loss of their children. Freya was born still at 39 weeks gestation. It was a complete shock to us. We went into the hospital to deliver a healthy, living baby, and discovered the most devastating news. Freya had died. I did not know of the resources available to us.  In our fog and shock, I needed someone to be my advocate and share with me the resources and opportunities I had to parent her in the hospital, resources like a remembrance photographer or bereavement and lactation doulas, and opportunities like giving her a bath, dressing her, and taking family photos. In the Arms of Jesus hopes to be that advocate and support, to give you the resources to make and capture memories that will last your lifetime, because memories and hope are what you cling to when your child dies.

As I have journeyed through this life a grief, I discovered a passion to not only bring the comfort and hope of Jesus to families, but to also work to prevent the tragedy of stillbirth from happening to other families. Every family should have the right to a healthy birth outcome.
