Mathematics of Behavioral Economics and

Knightian Uncertainty in Financial Markets

The workshop will be held on May 14 - 18, 2018 at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research (ZiF) in Bielefeld.


It follows up on the 2015 ZiF Research Group on Robust Finance. The goal is to discuss the latest research in areas such as:

- Knightian Uncertainty in Financial Markets

- Asymmetric Information: Contracts and Games

- Utility Optimization and Equilibrium under non-standard Preferences

- Ambiguity in Games

- Behavioral Contract Theory

- Other-regarding Preferences


The workshop is sponsored by the CRC 1283, the CRC 190, the Center for Interdisciplinary Research (ZiF) of Bielefeld University and the Center for Mathematical Economics (IMW) of Bielefeld University, and it is organized by Ulrich Horst and Frank Riedel, with the support of Robin Kemminer and Leonie Wecker.
