This oldie from 1958 with Gary Cooper features some terrific color footage of the Sierra Railroad around Jamestown. Sierra #3 and the "movie coaches" #2, 5 & 6 are seen in action around the Red Hills in Sonora. The town in the film was nearby Columbia City, now preserved as a state park. Railtown 1897 (the Sierra RR locomotive shops) is also a CA state park and Engine #3 still operates there in the summer.
