本實驗室為「國立高雄科技大學 / 機電工程系」薛博文教師於2016年所建立，建立過程非常感謝邱能信主任及謝其昌主任竭盡所能的鼎力協助，也非常有幸承蒙機電系之前輩們的指導及各項資源之襄助，才使實驗室得以順利成立。

實驗室之研究核心為馬達控制與應用，並因應智慧自動化、工業4.0、高齡少子化社會及節能減碳之世界趨勢，進行各種相關之研究發展。所有研究議題皆戮力精進工業之發展及提升人類之福祉，各項訓練以實務為導向，協助學生挑戰將研究過程所需克服的種種關鍵問題，歡迎有興趣挑戰之同學一起加入。

This laboratory was established in 2016 by Dr. Po-Wen Hsueh. The electric motor control and application are the core filed of the research in this laboratory, meanwhile the applications are carried out to enhance the smart automation, industry 4.0, an aging and low birth rate society, and the world trend of energy saving and carbon reduction. All research topics are dedicated to the development of industry and the improvement of human well-being. The practical training is employed to assist the students in challenging the key issues that need to be overcome in the research progress. Students who are interested in challenges are welcome to join us.
