Camera Access: To capture photos directly from your camera as photographic evidence for inspection area items.

Photo Library Access: To allow you to select existing images from your device's photo library as evidence for inspection area items.

We do not access your camera or photo library for any purpose other than what is explicitly initiated by you during inspection workflows.

2.2 Account and Profile Information

When you log in to HELMS, the following information may be stored or processed:

- Your username and organization credentials (provided by your organization's administrator)

- Your assigned roles and permissions within the system

 2.3 Inspection Data

HELMS processes inspection-related data including:

- Inspection records, area items, and associated evidence photos

- Timestamps and metadata associated with inspection activities

2.4 Device Information

We may collect limited technical information to ensure proper app functionality:

- Device operating system version

- App version information

We do not collect advertising identifiers, precise GPS location, contacts, microphone audio, or any other sensitive device data.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information collected by HELMS is used exclusively to:

- Enable you to perform and upload inspection reports and evidence within your organization

- Authenticate your identity and enforce role-based access control

- Display your organization's inspection data securely within the app

We do not use your data for:

- Targeted advertising

- Marketing or promotional purposes

- Analytics sold to third parties

- Any purpose unrelated to inspection management

4. How Your Data Is Stored and Protected

- All data transmitted by HELMS is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.

- Inspection evidence photos are uploaded to your organization's secure server and are not stored on any third-party public cloud without your organization's consent.

- We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

- Locally stored credentials are secured using your device's secure storage mechanisms.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information or inspection data with third parties.

Your data is only accessible to:

- Authorized personnel within your organization

- The system administrators managing your organization's instance of HELMS

6. Data Retention

- Inspection data is retained for as long as required by your organization's data management policies.

- If your account is deactivated by your organization, access to the data is revoked accordingly.

7. Children's Privacy

HELMS is designed for use by professional inspection personnel and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

- Request deletion of your data (subject to your organization's data retention policies)
