SUMMARY
Image Compressor & Resizer processes your photos entirely on your device. This app does not upload, transmit or store your images anywhere.
The app shows optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob. Those ads are provided by Google and involve Google processing device and advertising data, which is why this app does not claim to collect no data at all.
IMAGES YOU SELECT
You choose images with the Android photo picker. The app receives temporary read access to only the files you picked; it never requests permission to browse your gallery or storage.
Decoding, resizing and compression happen locally using the operating system's own image encoders. Results are written to the app's private cache until you save or share them, and are removed when you clear temporary files, when a result is older than 24 hours, or when you uninstall the app.
By default the app removes metadata from results. Location (GPS) data is never copied into a result, even if you turn metadata keeping on.
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The app stores your appearance and processing preferences and your Pro Credit balance locally. There is no account, no login and no cloud synchronisation.
Pro Credits are device-local, cannot be transferred or purchased, and have no cash value. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
ADVERTISING AND CONSENT
The app includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform. Ads are shown only when you explicitly choose to watch one in exchange for a Pro Credit. There are no banner, interstitial or app-open ads, and no ad is ever shown automatically.
Before any ad request is made, the app asks Google's User Messaging Platform whether consent is required in your region and shows the certified consent form when it is. You can change your choices at any time from Settings & Privacy, where a "Privacy choices" option appears whenever it is required.
When you watch an ad, Google may process data such as your advertising identifier, IP address, device information and ad interaction data in line with Google's own policies:

PERMISSIONS
The app declares only internet and network-state access, which the advertising SDK requires. It does not declare photo, video, media or storage permissions, and it does not use the camera, microphone, contacts, location or notifications.
Saved results are written through Android's MediaStore into Pictures/ImageCompressor on Android 10 and newer, or into a folder you choose on older versions.
CHILDREN
This app is a general-purpose utility. It is not designed for or directed to children, is not marketed to children, and is not part of the Google Play Families programme.
YOUR CONTROLS
Clear temporary files at any time from Settings & Privacy. Uninstalling the app removes every local preference, the Pro Credit balance and all cached results. Photos you already saved to your gallery stay where you put them.
Because no personal data is collected by the developer, there is no account to delete and no server-side copy to request.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the revised policy will be published at the same URL and inside the app.
