The Palacký University, in particular the EUVIP (an EU-funded project entitled the EU in the Volatile Indo-Pacific Region, EUVIP) and the MSC@ UP (Myanmar Studies Center at the Palacký University), in collaboration with the Myanmar-Institut e. V. (Berlin) cordially invite you to the Interdisciplinary Myanmar Conference 2024, themed “Myanmar's International Role: More Than a Buffer State”.  

The conference will be fully in-person, with select presenters delivering their presentations online.

The conference will be held under the Chatham House Rule. Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) or any other participant(s) may be revealed. 

Additionally, there will be a strict no-photo policy during the conference.

Conference speakers will have the possibility to publish their research (or part of it) with Mizzima News. More information on this will follow after the conference.
