I can help you learn mathematics and physics
Recent advances in pedagogy enable high quality instruction even for those who have determined that they cannot learn math or physics. Hung-Hsi Wu and Wenning and Vieyra wrote a series of math and physics pedagogy books, respectively. I am using those to create this website as a resource for those who want me to tutor them. Below you will find an outline of the content I have collected for the student to use to improve their understanding of math and physics.
Experimental evidence
The study of physics is the pursuit of better explanations for the evidence we collect during the practice of the scientific method and it is the pursuit of ever more useful experiments that challenge the best explanations we have already supported with evidence.
Problem solving methods
Writing physics includes writing the math required for solving textbook problems, certainly, but also new problems like those encountered by people in all professions. Draw diagrams, list known quantities, describe the goal, seek inspiration from similar worked problems, solve similar problems, ask others about the problem and its possible solutions.
Mathematical models
The language of mathematics is just like any other language that can be learned by reading, writing, and speaking. Physicists have enabled great technological leaps by translating the results of their experiments into mathematical models. When based on experimental results these can be physical models which are used by many different types of valuable work.
Worked problems
Every new discovery creates new problems to solve. Learning to solve problems requires practice solving new problems. This practice requires access to a safe environment and the knowledge constructed by centuries of math and physics work that I plan to put on this site.
I will store the worked problems in the documentation page, which is linked at the top of this page.
Lecture content
Slideshow and whiteboard presentations that motivate and explain the content can be reformatted into text, textbooks, infographics, documentary films, and more, but the goal and the content is the same. I collect it here on this website for everyone who wants my tutoring to have.

David Rowland finished a BA, BS, and PhD at UCLA and U. of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in music performance and biophysics. He studied computational microscopy from 2010 to 2018 while working with frogs, Vibrio, Bdellovibrio, nemotodes, scientific cameras and Matlab. Today he uses python to explore neuroimaging and audio data for biofeedback applications.
