CAMERA – if enabled, this permission may be required to capture images or documents directly using your device camera for OCR processing. Revoking this permission will prevent camera-based image capture from working.
INTERNET / FULL NETWORK ACCESS – required for features that require an Internet connection, such as displaying advertisements, analytics, crash reporting, or other online functionality. Core OCR functionality may continue to work locally where supported.
READ MEDIA IMAGES / PHOTO ACCESS – this permission may be required to allow you to select an existing image from your device for OCR processing. This access is used only when you choose to select an image for text extraction.
GOOGLE PLAY BILLING SERVICE – if applicable, this permission/service is used to process in-app purchases or premium features offered by the App.
The App only requests permissions that are necessary for the features you choose to use.
The App is designed to extract text from images using optical character recognition (OCR).
Images processed by the App may contain documents, receipts, notes, screenshots, handwriting, printed text, or other visual information.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate rights or permission to process any images that you select or capture using the App.
We do not intentionally collect or store the images you process or the text extracted from those images on our servers unless explicitly stated otherwise within the App.
OCR results may not always be completely accurate. You should review extracted text before relying on it, particularly for important documents, numbers, addresses, financial information, or other sensitive content.
