• File Deletion: You have complete control over your files. You can delete them at any time through your device's file management system.
4. PASSWORD AND ENCRYPTION
When you use the Lock PDF feature:
• Local Encryption: Passwords are used locally on your device to encrypt your PDF files using industry-standard encryption methods.
• Password Storage: We do not store, transmit, or have access to your passwords. Passwords are used only for the encryption process and are never saved by the App.
• Password Recovery: We cannot recover lost passwords. If you forget the password for a locked PDF, we cannot help you unlock it. You are solely responsible for remembering your passwords.
• Security: Password-protected PDFs are encrypted using secure algorithms to ensure that only someone with the correct password can access the document.
5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
The App may request the following permissions to function properly:
• Photo Library Access: The App requests read-only access to your photo library to allow you to select images for conversion to PDF. We do not access your photos beyond what you explicitly select.
• Files Access: The App requests access to the Files app to allow you to save and access PDF documents. This permission is used solely for file management functionality.
• Camera Access (Optional): If you choose to use the camera feature, the App may request camera access to capture new images for conversion. Camera access is optional and only used when you explicitly choose to take a photo.
These permissions are used exclusively for the App's core functionality and are not used for data collection, advertising, or tracking purposes. You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App uses the following third-party services:
