PS Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the mobile application Image to Text Converter (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your choices when you use our App.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
Photos and documents you capture with the camera or select from your gallery for text extraction (OCR).
Extracted text and document titles you choose to save in the App.
App settings and preferences stored on your device (such as auto-save and notification settings).
2.2 Information collected automatically
Device information, such as device model, manufacturer, operating system version, SDK version, language, country, and time zone.
App usage information, such as session start and end times and general app activity.
Device identifiers, such as Android ID, used for app functionality, session analytics, and related services.
Network status (online/offline).
Advertising-related data collected by our ad partners (such as Google AdMob and, where enabled, Meta Audience Network), which may include advertising identifiers and ad interaction data.
2.3 Information we do not collect
We do not require you to create an account.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not send your scanned document content to our servers for OCR processing. Text recognition is performed on your device.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
Perform optical character recognition (OCR) on images you choose to scan.
Save, display, edit, copy, share, and export extracted text on your device.
Store your scan history locally unless you delete it.
Display advertisements (banner, interstitial, and app open ads).
Load remote app and ad configuration settings.
Monitor app sessions and improve app performance, stability, and user experience.
Respond to your questions or support requests when you contact us.
4. How OCR and Document Data Is Processed
When you scan an image, OCR is processed on your device using Google ML Kit Text Recognition (through Google Play services).
Your images and extracted text are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share or export them using system features (such as Share or Save to PDF).
We do not upload the content of your scanned documents to our servers for OCR processing.
5. Permissions We Request
The App may request the following permissions:
Camera – to capture documents for scanning.
Photos / Storage – to select images from your gallery and save exported files.
Internet – to load advertisements and fetch remote configuration.
Network state – to check connectivity for ads and app services.
You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features may not work without the required permissions.
We use third-party services that may collect information according to their own privacy policies:
Google AdMob – for displaying ads in the App.

7. Data Storage and Retention
Saved scans remain on your device until you delete them from the History screen or uninstall the App.
App settings are stored locally on your device.
Session and device data sent to our services is kept only as long as needed for operational and analytical purposes, after which it may be deleted or anonymized.
Cloud backup is not currently offered. If we add it in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only in these cases:
With advertising partners to show ads in the App.
With service providers that help us operate the App (such as ad configuration and session analytics).
When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
To protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the App, or the public.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Delete saved scans at any time from the App’s History screen.
Change or revoke app permissions in your device settings.
Reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
Opt out of personalized ads in your Google/device ad settings.
Contact us to request information about data we hold or to request deletion.
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you use the App from outside your country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on our website and change the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
