I am a researcher in mathematics currently working as a Lecturer at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. I have been formerly affiliated with University of Cincinnati (2023-2025, Visiting Asst. Prof), Syracuse University (2020-2023, Postdoc fellow) and University of Helsinki (2016-2020, PhD student).
My research is in the field of geometric analysis, more specifically geometric function theory. A lot of my research work centers around the study of higher-dimensional quasiconformal/quasiregular maps, a generalization of single variable holomorphic maps to n real dimensions. My interests also extend to multiple closely connected fields such as the study of topological properties of Sobolev maps and various forms of analysis on metric spaces. The methods I use are often heavily influenced by ideas from non-smooth Riemannian geometry and algebraic topology. I have also at times used tools from a wide variety of other fields such as partial differential equations, dynamical systems, and geometric measure theory.
I received my PhD in 2020 at the University of Helsinki. My doctoral dissertation is on obstructions to the existence of uniformly quasiregular maps on closed Riemannian manifolds, and was supervised by Pekka Pankka.
During 2023-2025, my research was supported by the National Science Foundation Analysis program grant DMS-2247469.
