Competitive Events Requirements

Please follow the National HOSA guidelines for State Competition

Online Testing:  All online tests will be open the Week of March 4 - 8, 2024 from 7:00am - 7:00pm.  The State Leadership Conference tests will be proctored.  Advisors will make arrangements with their assigned proctors.

Online submissions will be uploaded to the HOSA Digital Upload System.  All uploads must be completed by 7:00pm on Friday, March 8.  

For team events only ONE team member will upload the required materials.

• Community Awareness - Portfolio

• Family Medicine Physician - Interview Verification Form

• Health Career Display - Photos of Display and reference page

• Health Career Photography - Photos, Descriptions, Permission forms (as 1 pdf)

• Health Education - Portfolio

• Interviewing Skills - Personal Statement & Resume

• Job Seeking Skills - Personal Statement & Resume

• Medical Innovation - Photos of Display and reference page

• Mental Health Promotion - Digital Files, Consultation Form & Reference page

• MRC Partnership - Portfolio

• Public Service Announcement - Reference page, Copyright form, Airdate Form, Video link

• Researched Persuasive Writing & Speaking - Written paper

• Research Poster - Research poster as 1 pdf

• Respiratory Therapy - video link to the 8-minute presentation

Voting Delegates

Each chapter is allowed to have voting delegates to represent the chapter at SLC.  The number of delegates is determined by membership:

1 - 25 members = 1 voting delegate

26 - 100 members = 2 voting delegates

101 - 300 members = 3 voting delegates

301 - 500 members = 4 voting delegates
