State Property - The Chain Gang Vol. 2
State Property is a hip-hop group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, consisting of rappers Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Peedi Crakk, Young Gunz, Oschino and Omillio Sparks. The group was formed by Jay-Z, who signed them to his Roc-A-Fella Records label in the late 1990s. State Property released their debut album, The Chain Gang Vol. 1, in 2002, which featured appearances from Jay-Z, Cam'ron, Memphis Bleek and others. The album was a commercial success, reaching number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 6 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
In 2003, State Property released their second album, The Chain Gang Vol. 2, which was also the soundtrack to their film of the same name. The album featured guest appearances from Jay-Z, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Twista, Lil' Cease and others. The album was also a hit, reaching number 6 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album spawned two singles: "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" by Young Gunz and "It's On" by Beanie Sigel and Jay-Z. "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" was a breakthrough for Young Gunz, as it reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 6 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. "It's On" was also a success, reaching number 23 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number 10 on the Hot Rap Songs chart.
