This Privacy Policy explains what information the Android app "iLauncher - Glass Effect" (package name: com.ios.launcher.pro.android) (the "App") uses, why it uses it, and the choices you have. The App is provided by Vedican Technology Private Limited ("we", "us", "our").
The App does not need an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages or precise (GPS) location, and we do not sell your personal information.
1. INFORMATION THAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Much of what the App does happens only on your phone:
- Installed apps. The App reads the list of apps installed on your device to show them on the home screen, in the App Library and in search. This list is not sent to us, and we do not record which apps you open.
- Notifications. If you turn on notification access, the App reads your notifications (title, text and the app they come from) only to show them in the notification pill and on the lock screen. They are not saved and are not sent anywhere. The App can also show what is playing in your music app (title, artist and artwork). If the music app provides the artwork as a web address, the App loads the artwork from that address.
- Your arrangement and settings. Your home screen layout, folders, hidden apps, custom app names and icons, and your settings are stored on your device.
- Photos you choose. If you pick a photo as a wallpaper or as a custom app icon, the App keeps a copy on your device to display it. These photos are not uploaded. The App uses the system photo picker and does not need access to your photo library.
If backup is turned on for your device, Android may include the App's stored data in your device backup to your Google account.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Device identifier: an ID for your device within the App (the Android ID given to this app, or a random ID if that is not available). It lets us count installs and usage without knowing who you are.
- App version and install source: the App's version, and whether the App was installed from a Google or Meta ad campaign or not, with the campaign name if there was one. This comes from the Google Play Install Referrer.
- Usage information: which screens and features of the App you open, for example the App Library or a settings screen.
- Ad information: the type and placement of the ads shown, ad impressions and clicks, and the ad revenue reported by the ad network.
- Technical information: your IP address and basic device information (such as the Android version and device model), which our servers and service providers receive as part of any internet connection.
- Crash and performance reports: if the App crashes, a report with technical details about the error and your device.
This information is sent to our server (global.inpik.in) and to the service providers listed in section 4.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- To provide the App's features and the content we deliver, such as wallpapers, settings and promotions.
- To understand how the App is used and to improve it.
- To find and fix crashes and bugs.
- To show ads, measure how they perform, and know which campaigns bring installs.
- To keep the App and our servers secure and to prevent abuse.
4. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND THIRD PARTIES
We use the following services. They receive information as described here and handle it under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging): usage analytics, crash reports and push notifications.
https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

- Meta (Facebook) SDK: when enabled, to measure installs and app activity that come from Meta ad campaigns.
https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
- ipapi.co: to find your approximate city from your IP address, for the weather feature.
https://ipapi.co/privacy/
- Open-Meteo: to get the weather for that approximate location.
https://open-meteo.com/en/terms
- Our content server: when you browse, search or watch content in the App's content sections, the App sends your search text, the IDs of content you have already viewed (kept on your device) and paging information to our content server, to deliver and recommend content. These requests do not include your device identifier.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
5. ADVERTISING AND YOUR CHOICES
The App is free and shows ads, including ads from Google and promotions of our own apps. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (for example Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device).
6. WEATHER AND LOCATION
The App does not ask for location permission. For the weather feature, the App uses your IP address to find your approximate city (through ipapi.co) and gets the weather for it (through Open-Meteo). The result is kept on your device for a short time.
