I am currently a Professor in the Department of Applied Science at Yamaguchi University.
My main interests lie in the field of Complex Analysis, particularly Geometric Function Theory. This includes topics such as the Loewner differential equation, conformal and quasiconformal mappings, Teichmüller theory and the Schwarzian and pre-Schwarzian derivatives.
More recently, I have been delving into problems in probability theory, including the Schramm-Loewner Evolution and the theory of non-commutative probability. These explorations are closely connected to my work on the Loewner differential equations.
