If I have seen a little further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants

Dr. Ig-Jae Kim

I work in computer vision and pattern recognition field using machine learning and deep learning. The focus of my research is on developing core technologies in the field of comptuer vision and pattern recognition and making them highly mature to a level that is practically applicable. So, I am aiming to apply it to fields that have faced technical limitations and remain challenging. Currently, I am a Director-General of AI & Robotics Institute at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). I am also serving as a professor, AI-Robotics major at UST KIST School and a adjunct professor at Yonsei University and Korea University. I completed my PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea and my BS in Electrical Engineering at Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Media Lab of MIT
