WHO MAY ENTER?

Any current student/photographer of school, college, and university of the southeastern region is eligible for the contest List of districts of southeastern region - Chittagong, Noakhali, Feni, Cox’s Bazar, Khagrachhari, Rangamati, Bandarban

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:

04. All digital entries must be in .jpeg or .jpg format and must be a minimum of 3000 pixels wide on the longer side. The minimum resolution should be 300dpi. The Colour must be in sRGB. And each file must not exceed 25 Megabytes.

05. Each participant can submit a maximum of 5 single photographs.

06. Both Color and B&W (Monochrome) Photographs are allowed.

07. Only minor burning, dodging, and/or color correction is acceptable, as is cropping. High dynamic range images (HDR) will be accepted only for digitally manipulated submissions. All manipulated images that contain composite content (a bird or clouds added later to the scene for example) must be shot by the photographer/artist. Judges may ask for proof of authenticity.

08. No Borders/ Watermarks/ signature/ logo is allowed.

09. Only digital submission is allowed.

TERMS AND CONDITION REGARDING PHOTO SUBMISSION

• Submission of photos exhibited previously will be disqualified.

• Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted if they do not constitute copyright infringement or fraud.

• The photograph must be the sole work of the entrant. By entering the Contest, entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity, or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the photograph.

• The photograph must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.

• Photographers will be notified about the registration process, fees, and deadlines after the result are published. If any ‘selected’ photographer fails to complete the registration process within the registration deadline his/her photograph(s) will be disqualified.

• IIUCPS holds the right to examine the authenticity of the photograph/source material in order to confirm compliance with these rules.

• IIUCPS can use the submitted photographs for promotional activities, but IIUCPS will not use any photograph for commercial purposes.
