My research work is motivated by a purely quantum SPIN phenomenon. This journey started with Master’s project on dilute magnetism in semiconducting Nanostructures. My doctoral thesis dealt with the quantum magnetism and charge transport, when coupled strongly, in complex oxides to realize magnetic ferroelectricity and Slater gap. In a doctoral mandate of societal research, I revealed magnetism as a rapid diagnostic tool for Malaria parasites. Alongside, my research encompassed collaborative work on magnetic heterostructures, Heusler alloys, Nanoscale magnetism etc. My first postdoctoral research includes installation of Pulsed Laser Deposition setup & a few experiments on Time-resolved Angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy.
My present research interest lies at Quantum sensing towards fundamentals of quantum materials and biomedical applications. I am currently involved in set up of Nitrogen vacancy-based diamond spectroscopy and microscopy at low temperatures.
