About the IIBM PhDay...
The IIBM PhDay is an exciting meeting open for early-career researchers to connect, share ideas, and showcase their work. It’s a full day dedicated not only to an engaging scientific program but also to broader topics that matter to young scientists starting their careers.
Participation is free, and thanks to our generous sponsors, attendees will enjoy lunch and prizes for the best presentations. The event will feature renowned speakers from diverse areas of science, offering an inspiring environment for learning and networking.
We warmly invite everyone interested, from any institution, to join us: PhD students, research technicians, undergraduates, master’s students, and early-stage researchers.
Don’t miss the chance to be part of the first edition of IIBM PhDay!
Registration and abstract submission
Inscriptions are now closed, thank you very much 💙
We would like to inform you that both abstract submission and registration for the upcoming IIBM PhDay are now closed. Although we initially planned to keep the deadline open for a longer period, we have reached the maximum capacity for the event earlier than expected.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has registered. You will receive further details and updates at the email address you provided during registration. To those who were unable to secure a spot this year, we are truly sorry. We hope to see you in future editions, where we will do our best to increase the event’s capacity. Thank you for your understanding and for your interest in the IIBM PhDay.
If you want to attend the meeting, please fill this form!
The event is centered around biomedical research—including areas such as neuroscience, cardiovascular science, rare diseases and cancer research—but contributions from any discipline related to biosciences are welcome!
Registration is open until the end of 2025, and there are 120 places available, so make sure to secure your place! In the same form, you can submit your work as a short abstract (here is a template for reference), to present it as a poster or as an oral presentation. Abstract submission will close by the end of November, and results will be communicated after, as soon as posible, via email.
