Callie Ann Mccord

I am a current environmental engineering student at the University of Georgia with a passion for helping others. I am currently pursuing a minor in Spanish and a water resources certificate. My goal is to pursue a future in water conservation and sustainable building design by improving the efficiency of modern engineering practices to help develop more sustainable communities and circular economies.

My current project looks at how well bioretention cells (rain gardens) filter microplastics from stormwater. My project will be presented at the 2024-2025 CURO.
