Alvee is a master's student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Georgia. He is a water resources engineering graduate from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology with a keen interest in hydroclimatology, surface water hydrology and machine learning. His research is driven by the intention to address complex hydrometeorological challenges under a changing climate and look for innovative solutions through the integration of remote sensing, physics-based modeling, and data-driven processes.
At UGA, his current research focuses on modeling the hydrologic responses of integrated urban and agricultural best management practices in the Chesapeake Bay watershed under changing land use and climate conditions. Passionate about addressing water challenges, Alvee aims to contribute to sustainable water management solutions, particularly in disaster-prone regions like Bangladesh.
Alvee is also a devoted soccer fan, and loves to travel. Beyond playing and following the game, he dreams of traveling to cities around the world that are rich in soccer culture.
