IHP 2022 - Activities

Learning Seminars

These learning seminars are organized as a part of the IHP thematic trimester "Groups acting on fractals".
Our goal of these seminars is to foster discussion between junior participants through regular weekly
meetings.
Resources and references from each seminar will be uploaded to this site.
The below sche
dule is coarsely equivalent to the one found on the IHP website and included for ease of reference.

Apéretifs Mathématiques

Each speaker will have one blackboard or 15 minutes (whichever they use first) to share with us an idea they've been contemplating during the first month of the trimester. Wine and snacks will be served.

Talks should be informal, and can run the range of subjects: expositing a known result that delights you, introducing an open problem you're grappling with, sharing the joys of your latest progress, inviting us to the mysteries of a particular example, alerting us to a new paper you're excited about.
