Young People's Lives. Changed.
We long to see the lives of young people in our community changed by the power of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Ignite is an exciting youth project serving Penrith and the surrounding villages. We seek to work alongside and support young people of secondary school age (11-18). If they don't already know Jesus, we want to help them identify where He is already at work in their lives. We want to encourage them to ask questions and to explore for themselves who Jesus is and what that means for them. We also aim to journey alongside these young people as they encounter Jesus for themselves. We recognise that everyone is at a different stage in their journey of discovering or understanding who Jesus is, but we want to invite all to come and explore Him together.
Ignite is the name used for youth work provided by the Church of England in Penrith and the surrounding villages. We are also part of the Network Youth Church.
