IGB Accounting and Business Consultancy (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the IGB ScanSuite mobile application (“App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App, which is integrated with the IGB-FEMS (Financial & Enterprise Management System) platform.
The App is intended for authorized staff and clients of IGB Accounting and Business Consultancy only.
It is an internal business tool used to scan invoices and upload them securely to the IGB-FEMS server.
2. Purpose of the App
IGB ScanSuite functions as a document scanning and upload companion tool for the IGB-FEMS accounting system.
Its primary purposes are to:
Scan invoices and receipts through the device camera;
Extract invoice details (e.g., invoice number, date, total amount); and
Securely upload these documents to the IGB-FEMS server.
The App does not modify, delete, or add data within the main IGB-FEMS backend.
It is strictly for scanning, viewing, and uploading authorized accounting documents.
3. Information We Collect
The App does not collect personal data such as names, emails, or contact information.
However, during normal use, the following data may be temporarily processed:
Images or documents captured through the device camera (invoice/receipt scans);
Extracted metadata, such as invoice number, amount, and date.
This data is used only for processing and uploading to the IGB-FEMS server.
The App does not store data locally on the device or transmit it to any third party.
4. Permissions Used
To perform its intended function, the App may request access to:
Camera – to capture invoice and receipt images;
Network (Internet) – to securely transmit scanned data to the IGB-FEMS server.
These permissions are used solely for operational purposes and are not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
5. How We Use Information
The information processed by IGB ScanSuite is used exclusively to:
Verify and upload scanned invoices/receipts;
Enable staff and clients to manage accounting documentation within IGB-FEMS; and
Improve system efficiency and scanning accuracy (aggregated and non-personal).
We do not sell, rent, or share any information with external entities.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data transmission and storage, including:
Encryption (HTTPS/TLS) between the App and the IGB-FEMS servers;
Restricted access to authorized users and systems;
No local caching of sensitive data.
Since the App does not permanently store or modify data, risks of unauthorized access or manipulation are minimized.
7. Data Sharing and Retention
We do not share user or accounting data with any third parties.
Uploaded data is stored only within the IGB-FEMS secure servers managed by IGB Accounting and Business Consultancy.
The App does not retain copies of scanned files after successful upload.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be posted within the App and on our official website with an updated effective date.
Continued use of the App after such changes signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
