This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses, processes, stores, and protects information when you use it. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the App.
iOS Gallery Photo Video is designed to function as a completely offline gallery application.
The App does not upload, transmit, sell, rent, or share your photos, videos, personal information, or device data with external servers. All gallery operations, media management, hidden folders, passcode protection, face clustering, duplicate detection, and user settings are processed directly on your device.
Your data remains under your control and is stored locally unless you manually export or share content using your device's built-in features.
To provide gallery functionality, the App processes certain information stored on your device.
The App accesses photos and videos stored on your device to display media content, organize albums, search for duplicate files, create hidden folders, and support face clustering features.
When you choose to hide media files, the App moves those files into a secure private storage location within the App. The original files are removed from their public location on the device. Information such as original file paths, file sizes, dates, and other media-related details may be stored locally to allow proper restoration and management of hidden files.
When you restore hidden files, the App returns them to a public media directory and removes the corresponding copies from the private storage area.
The App allows users to protect hidden folders and secure access to the application using a PIN.
For security purposes, PINs are never stored in plain text. The App applies cryptographic hashing using the SHA-256 algorithm before saving PIN information locally within the App's private storage.
The App never transmits or shares your PIN information.
Users may optionally configure security questions to recover access if a PIN is forgotten.
Security questions and answers are stored locally on the device and are used only for local identity verification during the recovery process. This information is not shared with third parties or transmitted outside the device.
The App may provide optional biometric authentication features, including fingerprint authentication, depending on device capabilities.
Biometric verification is handled entirely by the Android operating system through official system APIs. The App does not access, collect, store, or process biometric templates, fingerprints, facial scans, or any other biometric identifiers.
The App receives only a success or failure result from the operating system.
The App includes an optional face clustering feature that helps organize photos containing similar faces.
To provide this functionality, the App uses on-device face detection technology to analyze facial landmarks and geometric measurements within photos stored on your device.
Generated information may include facial landmark positions, distance ratios, thumbnail references, and mathematical signature data used for grouping similar faces.
All face clustering information remains stored locally on the device. No face data, biometric information, photos, or facial signatures are transmitted to external servers.
The App may request permission to access photos and videos stored on your device in order to display and organize your media.
The App may request storage management permissions to allow file organization, duplicate file detection, media movement, hidden folder operations, and restoration of media files.
The App may use foreground service permissions to perform longer-running tasks such as media scanning and face clustering without interruption.
The App may use wake lock functionality to prevent device sleep during resource-intensive processing operations.
The App may use vibration functionality to provide haptic feedback during user interactions such as entering passcodes or using certain controls.
These permissions are requested solely to provide the features and functionality of the App.
The App may include third-party libraries and open-source technologies to support its functionality.
These components may include image loading frameworks, photo editing utilities, local databases, animation libraries, image viewing tools, and on-device face detection technology.
Such libraries operate locally within the App and are used exclusively to provide gallery-related features. They do not receive your personal data from us and do not transmit your information outside your device through the App.
We take reasonable measures to protect information stored within the App.
Passcodes are protected using cryptographic hashing techniques.
Hidden media files are stored within the App's private storage area, which is isolated from other applications through Android's security architecture.
We rely on Android's built-in application sandboxing, permission controls, and security protections to help safeguard information stored on your device.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Because all information is stored locally on your device, you maintain direct control over your data.
You may restore hidden files at any time through the App.
You may remove face clustering information by clearing the face database through the App settings.
You may reset, change, or remove passcodes and recovery information through the App settings.
You may delete all App data through your device settings. Clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App may permanently remove hidden files, passcodes, security questions, face clustering information, local databases, and other App-related data stored on the device.
The App is not specifically directed toward children under the age required by applicable laws.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since all processing occurs locally on the device and no information is transmitted to us, we do not knowingly receive or store personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided information through the App in a manner that raises privacy concerns, please contact us.
The App is developed using standard Android design practices, publicly available development tools, and open-source components.
We do not intentionally copy, reproduce, or infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, trademarks, copyrighted materials, or proprietary designs.
If you believe any part of the App infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with complete details so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action where necessary.
Promotional images, screenshots, banners, advertisements, and marketing materials are intended to demonstrate the App's features and functionality.
Actual user interface elements, layouts, animations, and visual appearance may vary depending on software updates, device models, Android versions, feature enhancements, and system configurations.
