IFS Approval Viewer is a Chrome extension that displays approval and workflow information from the active IFS Cloud page directly within the extension popup. This policy describes what data the extension accesses and how it is used.
2. Data We Collect
The extension does not collect or store any personal user data. It only reads information displayed on the active IFS Cloud page when the user explicitly opens the extension to view approval information.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Usernames, passwords, or authentication tokens
- Personal or business data beyond what is visible on the active IFS page
- Browsing history or data from non-IFS websites
- Any data in the background or when the extension popup is closed
4. How Data Is Used
Data accessed from the active IFS Cloud page is used solely to display approval and workflow information within the extension popup. No data is sent to any external server or third party.
5. Data Storage
This extension does not store any data persistently. No information is written to chrome.storage or any other storage mechanism.
6. Permissions
- activeTab: Required to read approval information from the currently active IFS Cloud tab.
- scripting: Used to extract workflow data displayed on the active IFS Cloud page.
- <all_urls>: Required because IFS Cloud can be hosted on any organization-specific domain.
7. Remote Code
This extension does not use any remote code. All scripts are bundled within the extension package.
8. Third Parties
This extension does not integrate with, transmit data to, or depend on any third-party services or analytics tools.
