Cordial greetings from the Latin American and Caribbean Division of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA LAC). One of the organization's objectives is to promote the value of information and library services and to defend their importance in generating social, economic, and cultural growth in their communities. Together with the United Nations and other global and regional organizations, the division promotes the definition and execution of action plans in areas identified as priorities for the region.
It is a great pleasure and an honor to invite you to join the celebration of the Advocacy Seminar: Transformation and empowerment of the library in Latin America and the Caribbean. The seminar will take place on March 1, 2023, at the Center for Puerto Rico, Fundación Sila M. Calderón, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and admission is free. (REGISTRATION STARTS AT 8:00 AM)
This great event is celebrated as IFLA LAC selected Puerto Rico as the host country for their Mid-Term Meeting on February 27 and 28, 2023, at the el Centro para Puerto Rico, Fundación Sila M. Calderón. We will receive representatives from Latin America and the Caribbean on the Island.
