Yong Chen is Research Director of CNRS (1st class) and Principle Investigation of Microfluidics Laboratory at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) of Paris. In the past, he also served as Professor of ENS, Adjunct professor of Kyoto University, Changjiang Scholar at Peking University and Distinguished Chair Professor of Polytechnic University of Hong Kong. He has been sequentially worked on semiconductor quantum structures, nanophotonics, nanomagnetism, nanofabrication and microfluidics. His current interest is mainly in the area of stem cell devices and diagnostic systems. He has contributed to more than 400 papers in peer-reviewed journals and about 30 patents.
