Sakir Amiroudine joined University of Bordeaux in 2009 as a full Professor. His research topics are based on flow instabilities in many configurations and applications: (1) electroosmotic and electrophoretic flows in micro-channels, (ii) near-critical fluids or (iii) binary miscible and immiscible fluids. He is the co-chairman on COSPAR (Committee on Space Research) and has published 60 papers in referred journals (JFM, PoF, PRE, IJMF, Electrophoresis, Microfluid.&Nanofluid., etc.). He has published a book in fluid mechanics and another book on Finite Volume methods is in preparation (publishing date : 2019). He has many international collaborations through some projects (India, Russia, Japan, Canada, and Germany) and has hosted many Professors from outside countries. On the academic part, he is the head of an international Master’s degree with Germany and Belgium.
