Pr. Hugues Bodiguel, 38 years old, joined Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble-INP) in 2015 and is currently Full Professor at ENSE3, where he teaches Fluid Mechanics, and where he is he is deputy director of the Departement of Physics, Engineering and Materials of Univ. Grenoble Alpes. He is a former student of ESPCI Paris, where he obtained his master degree in 2002; he got his PdD in 2006 from the University of Paris 6, specialty Physics of liquids. He has then worked as a post-doctoral fellow in Orsay before being recruited in Bordeaux University as associate professor. His research interests are related to soft matter physics, and more precisely to flows of complex fluids at small scales and in porous media. He has been for that purpose developing microfluidics approach and microscopy technique. He has published 34 articles in international journals such Physical Review Letters, Soft Matter, Lab on Chip, Phys Rev E, …etc ... and gave more than 40 talks in international conferences.
