IEXTRACT Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
IEXTRACT ("the app") is an offline subtitle extractor for Android. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.Â

What the app processes
Videos you choose. When you pick a video, IEXTRACT copies it into the app's private storage, scans frames from it, and reads burned-in subtitle text using on-device text recognition (Google ML Kit, bundled on-device model). The video is never uploaded to any server by IEXTRACT. Working copies are deleted when extraction finishes.
Subtitle files you create. Extracted SRT/VTT files are saved to your device in Download/IEXTRACT and listed in the app's local history. You can open, share, or delete them at any time. Deleting an entry removes the file from storage.
Local settings. Your output format, preset choice, subtitle-area selection, and onboarding state are stored locally on the device only.
Advertising
IEXTRACT is supported by ads and uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) together with Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent.
Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with its partners:
Approximate location derived from device IP address
App interactions (launches, taps, ad views and interactions)
Diagnostics (performance and stability of the ad SDK)
Device or other identifiers (advertising ID, app set ID)
This data is used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention/security. Where required, IEXTRACT shows Google's consent form before requesting ads. You can change your choices at any time via the consent options available where required by law, or via your Android device settings (Ads, then Delete advertising ID).
The rewarded ad for the optional Super Fast preset is shown only after you explicitly choose "Yes, watch ad" in the in-app dialog.
Data not collected
IEXTRACT has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDK of its own, no crash-reporting SDK, and no first-party servers. It does not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or precise location. It does not read or upload videos you did not select.
Permissions
