4ª MOVILIDAD (MEETING DE TRABAJO) PLOVDIV - BULGARIA

"MONTESSORI EN LA FORMACIÓN PROFESIONAL"
Seguimos adelante con el proyecto “MONTESSORI in the VET”, con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad de las enseñanzas de Formación Profesional-Vocacional a nivel Europeo en los sectores de servicios, automóviles y artesanía mediante la aplicación del Método Montessori.
Entre el 4 y el 11 de Junio, los socios del proyecto han llevado a cabo una movilidad de cinco días en la Escuela “Histro Botev Vocational School of Interior Architecture and Woodworking” con sede en Plovdiv (Bulgaria), para formadores, tutores, educadores y diseñadores del sistema de Formación Profesional, consultores de empresa y tutores del sistema dual de la Formación Profesional.
Esta vez hemos trabajado en grupos para identificar los intereses propios de cada Institución participante y realizar una comparación entre los mismos para establecer líneas de actuación y buenas prácticas en la aplicación del Método a las enseñanzas profesionales.
Realizamos las actividades siguientes:
- Presentación de la Institución de acogida en esta movilidad, “Histro Botev Vocational School of Interior Architecture and Woodworking” con sede en Plovdiv (Bulgaria). Visita y explicación de sus instalaciones.
- Reunión con el concejal de cultura y educación de la ciudad de Plovdiv, el cual nos explica la inversión y promoción que el Ayuntamiento está haciendo para implantar cada vez más el Método Montessori en escuelas de Infantil y Primaria públicas.
- Visita a escuelas de Infantil y Primaria que aplican el Método y a Centros de Formación Profesional.
- Trabajo en grupos para identificar los intereses propios de cada Institución participante y comparación entre los mismos para establecer líneas de actuación y buenas prácticas en la aplicación del Método a las enseñanzas profesionales.
- Análisis y conocimiento del sistema educativo Búlgaro.
- Visita a varias empresas de manufactura del entorno de Plovdiv en distintos ámbitos industriales, que ayuden a entender la red empresarial del entorno.
- Visitas culturales en el entorno de Plovdiv.
- Resumen final de semana de trabajo, evaluación del mismo y establecimiento de los siguientes pasos a dar en el Proyecto.
En esta movilidad hemos podido tener una mejor visión global de las características educativas de los distintos países participantes, en el ámbito de enseñanzas profesionales, y cómo relacionarlas con las posibilidades de aplicación del método Montessori. También hemos quedado gratamente sorprendidos por la ciudad de Plovdiv y por Bulgaria en general, país que es un tanto desconocido para los que somos de zonas occidentales de Europa.
La mayor señal de éxito para un docente es ser capaz de decir, “El alumnado está ahora trabajando como si yo no existiese”

ENGLISH VERSION: 'MONTESSORI IN THE VET'
We continue with the "MONTESSORI in the VET" project, with the aim of improving the quality of vocational education and training at the European level in the service, automotive, and handicraft sectors through the application of the Montessori Method. Between June 4th and 11th, the project partners carried out a five-day mobility in the "Histro Botev Vocational School of Interior Architecture and Woodworking" located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, for trainers, tutors, educators, and designers of the vocational education system, business consultants, and dual vocational education system tutors.
This time we worked in groups to identify the specific interests of each participating institution and to compare them in order to establish lines of action and best practices in the application of the method to vocational education.
The following activities were carried out:
- Presentation of the host institution in this mobility, "Histro Botev Vocational School of Interior Architecture and Woodworking" located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Visit and explanation of its facilities.
- Meeting with the councilor of culture and education of the city of Plovdiv, who explained to us the investment and promotion that the City Council is making to increasingly implement the Montessori Method in public preschools and primary schools.
- Visit to kindergarten and primary schools that apply the method and to vocational training centers.
- Work in groups to identify the specific interests of each participating institution and to compare them in order to establish lines of action and best practices in the application of the method to vocational education.
- Analysis and knowledge of the Bulgarian educational system.
- Visit to several manufacturing companies in the Plovdiv area in different industrial sectors to help understand the local business network.
- Cultural visits in the Plovdiv area.
- Final summary of the week's work, evaluation of it, and establishment of the next steps to be taken in the project.
In this mobility, we were able to have a better global vision of the educational characteristics of the different participating countries, in the field of vocational education, and how to relate them to the possibilities of applying the Montessori Method. We were also pleasantly surprised by the city of Plovdiv and Bulgaria in general, a country that is somewhat unknown to those of us from western European regions.
The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist.”
