This workshop aims to explore the challenges and opportunities in aligning artificial intelligence (AI) with human values, decision-making processes, and societal norms. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Methods and Theory
Theoretical Foundations of AI Alignment
Arguments and Positions on Human-Aligned AI
Modeling Human Decision-Making and Values
AI-Based Decision-Making Models and Methods
Human Decision-Making Analysis and Trust
Metrics for AI Alignment
Applications
Use Cases of AI-Based Decision-Making
Ethics, Risk, and Fairness in AI Decision-Making
Legal, Regulatory, and Policy Considerations for AI-Based Decision-Makers
We invite high-quality paper submissions of theoretical and experimental nature on the broad set of topics above. Please submit short papers (at most 4 pages, excluding references) on new research, preliminary results, or summaries of previous work via the main conference EasyChair submission website (Select our Workshop on Human Alignment in AI Decision-Making Systems) . Accepted papers will be presented as posters during the workshop and list on the website (non-archival/without proceedings). In addition, a small number of accepted papers will be selected to be presented as contributed talks.
To help ensure correct formatting, please use the IEEE style files for conference proceedings as a template for your submission. These include LaTeX and Word style files, which are available at https://template-selector.ieee.org/secure/templateSelector/publicationType (choose Conferences > LaTeX | Word). Papers should contain at most four (4) content pages (excluding references). An optional appendix of arbitrary length is allowed and should be put at the end of the paper (after references).
Papers will be peer-reviewed in a single blind format, and submissions need-not be anonymized (but authors may choose to submit anonymously).
Please direct any comments / questions to the organizing committee.
