iDrone 101 is designed for American Youth from 6th - 12th grad throughout STEM activities and informal learning fast-moving technologies, such as drones. The Interstate Drone League (iDrone) is hands-on ONLINE workshop format to build a small drone from scratch. Additionally, coding exercise will take place using Arduino and Python IDE as well as MIT Scratch environment to learn basic concepts in automatic control, robotics and Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) during the workshop. Local professionals will be invited to share their applications to solve real-world problems. Educational curriculum and program development is another avenue to evaluate this iDrone program, ultimately promoting STEM pipelines across the states.
