I'm Ikechukwu (Ike) Nwaka, currently a lecturer at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Girne American University in Cyprus. My research combines various emerging fields, including labour and intersectional economics, household decision-making and family entrepreneurship, environmental economics, and economic development. Currently, my research investigates the pathways through which climate change and energy access affect households and family businesses in African cities (rural areas). Additionally, I'm interested in exploring how incentives and grants impact household energy efficiency and pro-environmental choices in developed economies, such as Canada.
