"The Hollow Echoes" is a short comic inspired by the eerie and explorative tone of From and the intricate, haunting art style of Junji Ito's Uzumaki. This project explores a desolate, overgrown city and its cryptic, supernatural history through the eyes of Alex, a curious but cautious protagonist determined to uncover the truth and escape.

This comic is a culmination of traditional and digital techniques. I started with pencil drafts on paper, refined the illustrations in pen for bold and detailed line work, then scanned and uploaded the pages into Photoshop. There, I adjusted layouts, added textures, and incorporated dialogue to create a cohesive and immersive experience.

Currently, the comic spans five completed pages, with plans to expand to eight and potentially continue the series. Each panel is meticulously designed to capture the dark, mysterious atmosphere, using recurring visuals like runes, vines, and symbols to weave the story together.

This project is a testament to my love for storytelling, eerie aesthetics, and traditional illustration techniques, paired with digital enhancements to bring the world to life.
