International Database Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Symposium
The IDEAS series provides an international forum for discussion of the problems of engineering data driven systems involving not only database technology but the related areas of artificial intelligence, information retrieval, multimedia, human machine interface, speech, natural language processing and communication. The goal of IDEAS is to foster closer interaction among the industrial, research and user communities and provides an excellent opportunity for them to meet, discuss ideas, examine the current ones and develop new solutions and research directions. Along with the technical sessions, the symposium also features prominent invited speakers. The series are scheduled annually and have been held since 1997 in North America, Europe and Asia. It has attracted participants from governmental and non-governmental agencies, industries, and academia to exchange ideas and share experiences.
IDEAS 2027 has expanded its scope to include AI and database engineering works. Topics include, but not limited to:
-Artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications
-Big data applications
-Big data and scalable analytics
-Data management
-Data mining
-Data quality, cleaning and provenance
-Data warehousing and OLAP
-Databases
-Deep learning and neural models

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings of Springer LNCS, and the selected papers will be invited for possible publication to the following SCI journals after further revision and extension: (Last time cases, TBA soon)
• Journal of Supercomputing
• Data and Knowledge Engineering
• International Journal of Data Mining and Bioinformatics
