This privacy policy governs your use of the mobile application Ideal Note for mobile devices. The Application is a personal offline workspace for note-taking and organization.
1. Information Collection and Use
No Data Collection
Ideal Note is designed with privacy as the core principle.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information of any kind.
The Application is 100% offline-first.
We do not utilize any cloud storage, remote servers, or database backends.
Local Data Storage
All data you input into the Application (such as notes, titles, dates, and categories) is saved exclusively on your own mobile device. It is stored locally in a secure, sandboxed Room (SQLite) database. No one, including the developer, has access to this data.
2. Permissions Required
Ideal Note requires zero sensitive device permissions. In compliance with privacy standards:
No Internet Permission: The Application does not request or use internet access (android.permission.INTERNET). Your data cannot leave your device.
Clipboard Interaction: The Application accesses your system clipboard only when you explicitly choose to copy a generated backup key or paste a key to restore notes.
3. Third-Party Services
We do not use any third-party services, software development kits (SDKs), analytics tools, trackers, or advertising networks (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or AdMob) that could collect or track your information.
4. Data Control and Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data:
You can edit or delete individual notes at any time.
You can delete all data permanently by using the "Clear All Data" option in the application navigation drawer or by uninstalling the Application. Uninstalling the Application will permanently delete the local database and all notes.
5. Children's Privacy
Because we do not collect any personal information, the Application does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from children under the age of 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
